PVSC WEATHERPROOF TUNNEL LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission recently closed on a $5,492,200 loan with the NJ Water Bank to furnish labor, materials, and equipment required to segment the tunnel system. The project includes the installation of watertight doors in bulkhead walls at various locations within the tunnel and watertight doors at access locations to process areas. The scope also includes HVAC work to provide ventilation and associated electrical and above grade site work. This project will limit damage to major equipment and allow continued access to important sections of the tunnel system.
