VENTNOR CITY SEWER LINE REPLACEMENT
Ventnor City recently closed on a $2.7 million loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to support critical wastewater infrastructure improvements as part of the Winchester Avenue Sewer Main Replacement project.
The project includes the replacement of more than 3,000 linear feet of sewer service laterals and approximately 2,320 linear feet of sewer main. The existing sewer infrastructure has reached the end of its useful life and requires replacement to help prevent leaks, breaks and other system failures that could result in groundwater contamination.
By replacing these aging sewer lines, the project will improve the reliability and integrity of Ventnor City's wastewater collection system, reduce the risk of failures and potential environmental impacts, and help ensure dependable wastewater service for residents. These improvements represent an important investment in the City's infrastructure and the protection of public health and the environment for years to come.
