WILLINGBORO TOWNSHIP ROAD ASSET LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDOT Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Township of Willingboro recently closed on a $3,586,334 loan with the NJ Transportation Bank to improve roadways in the township. RoadBotics is a tool that collects images of road networks, analyzes the data, and generates a color-coded map on an online platform. The Township of Willingboro and the engineering firm, Pennoni Associates used Roadbotics to develop a 5-year roadway improvement program. 14 roads were identified as requiring immediate attention. In addition to Mill work on these roads, manholes and valve boxes will be installed, as well as bicycle safe grates and ADA ramps.
