NORTH BERGEN TOWNSHIP ROADWAY AND PEDESTRIAN INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS

North Bergen Township recently closed on an $3.5 million loan with the NJ Transportation Bank to support roadway and pedestrian infrastructure improvements throughout the township. The project includes roadway resurfacing, potential drainage improvements, curb and sidewalk replacement, and the installation of ADA-compliant curb ramps. Pedestrian facility improvements are also included, helping to create safer and more accessible routes for residents and visitors.

Together, these improvements will enhance roadway conditions, improve pedestrian safety and accessibility, and help extend the useful life of North Bergen's transportation infrastructure.
