SEASIDE PARK BOROUGH K STREET ROADWAY PROJECT

Seaside Park Borough recently closed a $1,254,368 loan with the NJ Transportation Bank to finance roadway and stormwater improvements along K Street and Berkeley Lane.

The project includes raising the roadway elevation along K Street to help improve the roadway's resilience and address drainage concerns. Existing stormwater infrastructure on K Street and Berkeley Lane will be removed and replaced with a new stormwater management system designed to improve drainage and better manage stormwater runoff.

Improvements will extend approximately 1,030 linear feet along K Street and 295 linear feet along Berkeley Lane. Together, the roadway elevation and stormwater improvements will help strengthen this critical local infrastructure and improve its ability to withstand flooding and storm-related impacts.
