SUSSEX COUNTY MUA LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority recently closed on a $9,479,947 loan with the NJ Water Bank for the planning and design and installation of a Leachate Pump Station and Force Main. Approximately 29,000 linear feet of 4- and 5-inch diameter force main will be installed by open cut and directional drilling. The project also includes a leachate pump station and rehabilitation of the leachate storage tank and appurtenances. This project will provide for long-term leachate transmission for treatment at the SCMUA Upper Wallkill water pollution control facility.
