STAFFORD TOWNSHIP LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Stafford Township recently closed on a $3,575,000 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to remove and replace approximately 9,200 linear feet of asbestos concrete pipe sanitary sewer mains in the Beach Haven West Section of Stafford Township. The sewer mains will be replaced with SDR-35 PVC sanitary sewer mains. Dewatering and bypass pumping will be required during the construction of this project which will repair leaks and prevent seepage into the surrounding ground water and estuaries. Storm system improvements are also proposed to mitigate excessive runoff and improve water quality in the surrounding areas.
