SCOTCH PLAINS TOWNSHIP LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Scotch Plains Township recently closed on a $2.3 Million loan with the NJ Water Bank to rehabilitate two existing raw sewage pump stations. The project includes the replacement of pumping equipment, piping, electrical panels, instrumentation and HVAC components that have reached the end of their useful life. Renewal of this pumping asset and its components is critical to maintain sewer service, avoid station failure and mitigate the potential for a sewage spill.
