BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Bloomfield Township recently closed on a $3,340,253 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to replace lead service lines that exceed action level. Lead service lines will be identified throughout the township and replaced from the existing water main up to the curb and the curb box. If the existing pipes cannot be verified to be constructed of copper or galvanized piping, the lead service lines may be replaced from the new curb box up to the water meter inside the property. Trenches will be restored as needed.
