WANAQUE VALLEY REGIONAL SEWER AUTHORITY LOAN CLOSING

Wanaque Valley Regional Sewer Authority recently closed on a $11,500,000 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank for a capital improvement project. Plant upgrades include a grit removal system, supplemental aeration, clarifier upgrades, microscreen replacement, sludge handling upgrades, return activated sludge/waste upgrades and HVAC sitewide improvements. This project will rehabilitate equipment that has reached the end of its useful life, allowing the plant to meet permit limits.
