RAHWAY VALLEY SEWERAGE AUTHORITY LOAN CLOSING

The Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority recently closed on a $5,267,857 loan with the NJ Water Bank to replace three stationary coarse and fine bar screens with three new mechanisms outfitted with multi-rake fine bar screens. Debris buildup and heavy loading has resulted in frequent blinding during high flows and has flooded non-submersible equipment. This project will resolve ongoing system impacts, repair damaged equipment and minimize extended downtimes.
