NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Willingboro Utilities Authority recently closed on a $18,200,000 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to develop an energy efficiency plan and implement it for various clean water and drinking water projects. The project addresses the replacement of aging and failed equipment at the Pollution Control Plant, including a new digester boiler, heat exchanger and sludge pumps, a new CHP unit, a new digester mixing system and new biogas collection (piping) system and new biogas metering equipment. The project also includes a new SCADA system, HVAC, pump VFDs and lighting upgrades.
