STAFFORD TOWNSHIP LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Stafford Township recently closed on a $2,700,000 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank for a sanitary sewer replacement that will mitigate excessive runoff and improve water quality in the surrounding areas of Stafford township. The project includes the removal and replacement of approximately 8,159 linear feet of asbestos concrete pipe with 5,243 Linear Feet of 8-inch PVC and 2,916 linear feet of 10-inch PVC in the Beach Haven West section of the township. 31 manholes will be replaced with new ones and 234 new sanitary sewer laterals will be installed. 

This project will repair leaks and prevent seepage into the surrounding ground water and estuaries.
