ROBBINSVILLE TOWNSHIP LOAN

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Robbinsville Township recently closed on a $1,460,608 loan with the NJ Water Bank to address issues with the Newtown Village water distribution system. The township recently acquired the Newtown Village site which contains 149 mobile homes. The existing water distribution system is haphazardly placed, undersized, inadequately sloped, and deteriorated. Major improvements are required to meet the minimum standards for water mains and services to reliably deliver water to all Newtown Village residents. The water main will be installed within the roadways and fire hydrants will be installed strategically. This project will provide clean quality water and fire safety to the small community of Newtown Village.
