NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Ocean County UA recently closed on a $6,813,604 construction loan with the NJ Water Bank to rehabilitate multiple Primary and Final clarifiers at the Central and Southern Water Pollution Control Facilities. These clarifiers have been compromised by corrosive and destructive elements associated with wastewater treatment. The mechanical components, structural steel, and concrete walls and floors shows signs of degradation and need repair. The clarifiers need rehabilitation to continue to treat raw wastewater efficiently. The proposed improvements will include the rehabilitation of all concrete surfaces and the installation of stainless-steel mechanical components and all associated equipment.
