MIDDLESEX COUNTY UTILITIES AUTHORITY RETURN SLUDGE PUMP STATION LOAN

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Middlesex County Utilities Authority recently closed on a $23,066,519 loan with the NJ Water Bank to rehabilitate four return sludge pump stations (RSPS). The work includes replacing approximately 20 butterfly valves with plug valves on the return and waste sludge piping at each of the four RSPSs. In addition, the project proposes replacing venturi and mag meters with new mag meters, and replacing the waste sludge pumps, and designated pipe segments. Also included are wet well and pipe cleaning, installation of new pipe supports, and electrical and instrumentation connections.
