MIDDLESEX BOROUGH LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Middlesex Borough recently closed on a $1,120,286 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to replace approximately 1,750 lead service lines with copper service lines within the Raritan Water System over a three to six-year period. The improvements to the Greenbrook Road and Louis Avenue pump stations are required to replace aging equipment and maintain the sanitary sewer system. In addition, an infiltration and inflow (I&I) study is required to determine where the I&I needs to be reduced.
