NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Long Branch Sewerage Authority recently closed on two construction loans with the NJ Water Bank. One $106,555 loan was for wastewater treatment plant Improvements including a hot water piping system and final settling tank mechanical improvements. The sludge holding tank and piping system are also proposed for improvements as well as demolition of internal installations and rehabilitation of the tank chamber interior as required for new operation.

The other $308,939 construction loan is for the evaluation of and reporting on inflow and infiltration, flow metering, sewer cleaning, television inspection and collection system rehabilitation or replacement. The Hoey Avenue Pump Station force main will be replaced and rerouted to stay within the public right-of-way. Pump station upgrades are also proposed. Based on the recommendations of the inspection reports generated by TV inspections, pipe at the crossings will be rehabilitated. Both projects are being designed and managed by Maser Consulting.
