The modifications proposed under LRSA's improvement project are necessary to ensure personnel safety from deteriorating buildings and to maintain uninterrupted operation of the process equipment housed in the various buildings being rehabilitated. The proposed work includes removal and replacement of existing roofing material, and re-pointing and replacement of the brick facade. Other improvements include installation of a new high-pressure water effluent piping, yard hydrants and roadway improvements.
