JCMUA WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority (JCMUA) recently closed on a $25,000,000 loan with the NJ Water Bank to replace 28,000 linear feet of existing 6-inch and 8-inch watermains with new pipes and services. The JCMUA also proposes to install approximately 34,000 linear feet of 6", 8", 12", 16", 20", 24", 30", 36"-inch diameter, ductile iron water main.  Ancillary items include hydrants, valves, and water service lines that extend to curb stops, pavement and environmental restoration.
