Ho-Ho-Kus Borough recently closed on a $3,700,000 loan with the NJ Water Bank to address excessive levels of PFAS and PFOS that can penetrate the water supply and affect drinking water quality. This project includes the design and installation of a permanent granular activated carbon (GAC) system to remove PFAS from water supply. In addition, Media that has reached the end of its useful life will be replaced in the three packed towers for volatile organic compound (VOCs) treatment.
