HAMBURG BOROUGH LOAN CLOSING

The Borough of Hamburg recently closed on an $85,000 construction loan with the NJ Water Bank.

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Borough of Hamburg recently closed on an $85,000 construction loan with the NJ Water Bank to create and implement a Sanitary Sewer System Asset Management Plan (AMP). If the AMP leads to a capital project of at least $250,000 financed through the Water Bank, The Borough may be eligible for 100% principal Forgiveness as it owns, operates and maintains a sanitary sewerage distribution system that serves a population of 10,000 or less. The wastewater system AMP will facilitate the inspection, maintenance, repair and renewal of the Borough's infrastructure to keep it consistent with regulatory standards. The AMP will fully document the overall condition and operation of the wastewater system, prioritize projects and identify the budgetary costs of future capital investments.
