CCMUA GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Camden County Utilities Authority (CCMUA) recently closed on a $1,679,070 loan with the NJ Water Bank for the construction of several green infrastructure projects in Camden City to reduce the potential of combined sewage flooding, particularly in the Camden waterfront area. Implementation of green infrastructure not only reduces combined sewage flooding and/or overflows but also reduces pumping and treatment costs, thereby reducing energy consumption.
