BRICK TOWNSHIP MUA SANITARY SEWER MANHOLE REPLACEMENT

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Brick Township MUA recently closed on a $7,581,767 loan with the NJ Water Bank to rehabilitate and/or replace 74 sanitary sewer manholes throughout Brick Township. The manholes are showing signs of deterioration from moderate to severe. Manholes showing signs of moderate deterioration are scheduled to be lined with cured-in-place lining. Those with severe deterioration will be replaced.

The proposed project will improve structural stability, reduce the incidence of manhole failures necessitating emergency repair, alleviate potential sanitary sewer pipe obstruction with debris from deteriorated manholes and prevent infiltration and inflow into the deteriorated manholes.
