NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Brick Township MUA recently closed on a $4,041,432 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank for a sanitary sewer main replacement.

This project was planned in accordance with the Township's Water and Sewer System Asset Management plans recommending the replacement of the sanitary sewer mains to meet the public sewer utility standards for reliable service.

The proposed project includes a sanitary sewer main replacement of approximately 6,350 linear feet along Cartagena, Alhama, Cadiz, Valencia, and Monterey Drives, located within the Baywood Section of Brick Township, to reinforce the collection system. The project consists of the installation of eight- and ten-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe including site clearing, service laterals, manhole replacement, site restoration, curb to curb paving and related appurtenances.
