PASSAIC VALLEY SEWERAGE COMMISSION SLUDGE STORAGE TANK IMPROVEMENTS LOAN CLOSING

The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission recently closed on a $6.1 million construction loan with the NJ Water Bank to rehabilitate its Sludge Storage Tanks #1 and #2. The work includes recoating and repairing the tank interiors, removing existing lead paint from the tank exteriors and recoating them. Pump and well improvements will also be completed as well as miscellaneous structural repairs. New piping, valving and/or pumping will also be installed as necessary to provide additional connections and process flexibility.
