OLD BRIDGE MUA COMMINUTOR LOAN CLOSING

Old Bridge MUA recently closed on a $3,290,000 construction loan with the NJ Water Bank to install new sewage grinders in eleven of their existing pump stations. Sewage grinders, or comminutors, break down wastewater solids in plant headworks and pump stations. The equipment gets heavy use and is a critical part of the wastewater treatment process. Project improvements also include cleaning the wet wells and installing their platforms, selective demolition and removal of obsolete equipment.
