The North Hudson Sewerage Authority ("the Authority") recently closed on a $3.47 million loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to fund the design and construction of critical improvements to the three primary clarifier tanks at the Adams Street Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The project will include structural concrete repairs and other upgrades designed to improve process performance and ensure the continued reliability of the facility. These enhancements will extend the useful life of the clarifiers by an estimated 50 years, supporting the Authority's commitment to protecting water quality and maintaining efficient wastewater treatment for local communities.
By investing in these essential improvements, the North Hudson Sewerage Authority is strengthening its infrastructure and safeguarding public health and the environment for decades to come.
