NATIONAL PARK BOROUGH LOAN CLOSING
National Park Borough recently closed on a $1,500,000 loan with the NJ Water Bank for the construction of a new Granulated Activated Carbon filter building to reduce Perfluorononanoic Acid concentrations in the drinking water supply. This project will protect public health and achieve compliance with State and Federal Safe Drinking Water Standards.
In addition, the Borough proposes to replace the old, undersized drinking water main. The proposed improvements will enhance the overall reliability and system pressure by replacing undersized mains, eliminating an existing dead-end, and looping the system.
