MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP PIKE BROOK WWTP UPGRADE AND EXPANSION

Montgomery Township recently closed on a $14.6 million loan to expand and upgrade the Pike Brook wastewater treatment plant. This project is necessary to handle increased wastewater flow from planned growth in the area, including the Carrier Foundation. Additionally, the upgrades will improve the plant's ability to meet environmental standards for nitrate levels in treated water. These improvements will help ensure the plant continues to operate reliably while protecting local water quality.
