MONROE TOWNSHIP MUA TANK PAINTING

The Monroe Township Municipal Utilities Authority (MTMUA) recently closed on a $5.9 million loan from the New Jersey Water Bank to repaint three water storage tanks: the Knights of Columbus (Well #8) Tank, the Corkery (Well #7) Tank, and the Herbert Tank.

This essential maintenance includes sediment removal to protect the quality of treated drinking water. Repainting is required periodically to prevent corrosion and reduce the risk of contamination from rust or structural deterioration.
