Manchester Township recently closed on a $4,020,163 loan from the New Jersey Water Bank to fund Phase 2 of its meter replacement project in the Eastern Service Area. This phase will replace approximately 3,750 water meters, including those on the existing read route and within Leisure Knoll Irrigation.
The new meters will provide more accurate readings, helping to conserve water and reduce wastewater flow. The project is expected to improve operational efficiency, strengthen system reliability, and significantly reduce unaccounted-for water losses.
