EDISON TOWNSHIP WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time
The Township of Edison recently closed on an $8.3 million loan from the NJ Water Bank to upgrade its water main infrastructure. The project includes replacing approximately 6,180 linear feet of water main with new 8-inch ductile iron piping, installing smart hydrants to detect and monitor leaks in the water distribution system, and restoring all trenches and sites upon completion.
