The City of New Brunswick recently closed on a $3 million loan from the NJ Water Bank to support its stormwater utility by purchasing specialized equipment designed to remove debris and sediment from local waterways. This investment will enhance the City's ability to manage stormwater runoff, reduce localized flooding, and improve water quality by preventing trash and pollutants from entering rivers and streams. The project represents a proactive step in maintaining the health and resilience of New Brunswick's stormwater infrastructure.
