The City of Bayonne ("the city") recently closed on a $10.1 million loan from the NJ Water Bank to implement a lead service line replacement program. The project aims to reduce public health risks by replacing aging lead service lines and components with lead-free materials. These improvements will help bring the city into compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act and the Municipal and County Utilities Authorities Law.
