HIGHTSTOWN BOROUGH IMPROVEMENTS TO HAUSSER AVENUE, BENNETT PLACE AND PROSPECT DRIVE

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Hightstown Borough recently closed on a $470,908 loan with the NJ Water Bank to Replace six-inch water mains and fire hydrants on Hausser Avenue, Bennett Place, and Prospect Drive. The water services on all three roads have experienced many breaks and leaks throughout the years and have reached the end of their intended design life. In addition, the existing water service lines that supply drinking water are connected to lines that possibly contain lead. Replacement of the water mains and services will increase water pressure and water quality, and the new fire hydrants will ensure continued fire safety.
