GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Gloucester Township recently closed on a $767,290 loan with the NJ Water Bank to provide stormwater management along a stream that frequently floods Redwood Street. The flooding not only isolates a small community in the southwest portion of the township, but it also causes erosion resulting in downstream water quality deterioration. The project involves a significant increase in the size of the culvert, raising the street above the new culvert and improvements to the channel.
