GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Gloucester Township recently closed on a $927,983 loan with the NJ Water Bank to improve portions of the aging stormwater collection system that have shifted as a result of soil erosion. The deteriorated infrastructure in the project area contributes to flooding in nearby roadways and properties. The project includes the replacement of existing corrugated metal outfall pipes, the extension of three existing outfall pipes, the replacement or relocation of headwalls, construction of new manholes, infrastructure and slope stabilization and improved soil erosion control measures at five locations in Gloucester Township. All existing corrugated metal pipes will be replaced with high density polyethylene pipes.
