CCMUA LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority recently closed on two loans for clean water projects totaling $15,972,973. One project financed the purchase of a new portable emergency generator, and the upgrade of its deteriorating electrical systems including the switch gear, at four of its existing pumping stations. This project will ensure that water quality is maintained within the project area.

The other project upgraded the administration building, originally constructed in the 1970s. The improvements include major system upgrades and replacements to the building's HVAC, lighting, electrical, roofing, plumbing, fire protections and ADA requirements. The same improvements will be made to the support services building, with the addition of men and women's locker rooms, showers, offices, and restrooms.
