TUCKERTON BOROUGH LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Tuckerton Borough recently closed on a $2,564,186 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank for a sanitary sewer system rehabilitation. The project consists of the replacement of old deteriorated sewer mains, manholes, sewer laterals, water meters and meter pits located on Curlew, Kingfisher and Bass Roads in Tuckerton Borough. Replacing old components with new watertight ones will reduce infiltration and increase sewer flows into the conveyance system, eliminating potential ground and surface water contamination. In addition, new water meters will conserve water.
