NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Orange City Township recently closed on a $700,000 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to reactivate its existing Well #5 located within the South Mountain Reservation in Millburn Township. Proposed improvements to the existing well house include installing a new well pump, and replacing the existing piping, flow meters, valving, fittings, and other associated appurtenances within the well house. Existing electrical equipment will be replaced, including new pump controls, SCADA, interior and exterior lighting. A new permanent diesel-powered generator will be installed as well as miscellaneous site and building improvements including roof and window replacement, new fencing and security cameras.
