NORTH BRUNSWICK TOWNSHIP LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Township of North Brunswick recently closed on a $701,622 construction loan with the NJ Water Bank to replace their existing distribution system water meters that have exceeded their useful life with new water service meters. The proposed project will include disposal of the existing meters, installation of up to 12,000 new water service meters throughout the Township, and construction of a receiving base station and installation of hardware and software for integration with the Township's financial software. The project will also include the replacement of the two master water meters at the water treatment plant and integration of all meters with the existing SCADA control system.
