MIDDLESEX BOROUGH LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Borough of Middlesex recently closed on a $1,381,868 loan with the NJ Water Bank for Sanitary Sewer Main Improvements. The first component of the proposed project entails the rehabilitation of approximately 8,900 linear feet (LF) of existing 8-inch to 10-inch diameter vitrified clay pipe and/or asbestos cement pipe sewer mains utilizing a cured-in-place pipe lining system and the rehabilitation of 44 associated manholes. The second component of the proposed project entails replacing approximately 271 LF of existing 10-inch diameter polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe sanitary sewer main, which has settled, at Lakeland Drive East with new 10-inch diameter PVC. The third component of the proposed project entails the reconstruction of four sanitary sewer manholes located along Forest Street.
