LITTLE EGG HARBOR LOAN CLOSING

Little Egg Harbor closed last week on a $4,750,000 construction loan with the NJ Water Bank to construct a new potable water supply treatment plant at Well No. 12, which will improve water system pressures. The plant will treat the ground water by means of pre- and post-disinfection for iron and hardness. The water supply treatment plant will consist of a water treatment building, a chlorine contact tank, a backwash tank, and a secure access to the facility. The water treatment plant building will house Well No. 12, pumping equipment, an emergency generator, office space, a laboratory, restrooms and other ancillary equipment.
