NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Jersey City MUA recently closed on a $9,361,874 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to replace approximately 12,500 linear feet of existing water main piping with new 8-inch and 12-inch DIP along various streets in the West Side, Journal Square, McGinley Square and Bergen/Lafayette areas of central Jersey City. Other improvements include installation of over 575 new water service connections from the new main to the curb; replacement of 35 fire hydrants and 130 inline water valves; installation of approximately 60 new insertion valves, and site/roadway restoration.
