HIGHTSTOWN BOROUGH 009 LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Hightstown Borough recently closed on a $70,820 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to clean and repaint the interior and exterior of three water storage tanks. The tanks will be repaired, and sediment will be removed. In addition to the interior and exterior tank painting, proposed upgrades will bring the borough into OSHA compliance.

The three storage tanks are located at Cranbury Station Road, Leshin Lane and First Avenue, respectively. Improvements to the tanks include the installation of a cable fall restraint system, a new roof hatch, a guard railing, an exterior ladder, a submersible mixer, pressure washing and anti-skid rungs.
