CLINTON TOWN FOSTER WHEELER LOAN

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Clinton Town recently closed on a $1,200,000 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to upgrade the Foster Wheeler and Fox Fire Booster Pump Stations. The existing pump stations are beyond their useful lives and are no longer providing reliable service. The proposed project has been planned in accordance with the township's Asset Management Plan. Proposed improvements include a jockey pump skid that will include three pumps, each sized for average historical usage. Foster Wheeler will include two high service booster pumps and Fox Fire will have one high service booster pump. These system improvements will result in improved water system reliability, improved pumping efficiency, a reliable auxiliary power source, water consumption metering accuracy, and uninterrupted service to the residential developments.
