TWO RIVERS WATER RECLAMATION AUTHORITY INTERCEPTOR AND PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Two Rivers Water Reclamation Authority (TRWRA) recently closed on a $4,000,000 loan with the NJ Water Bank to improve its collection system and pumping infrastructure. Interceptor Rehabilitation includes internal inspection and cleaning of 16,000 LF of pipe ranging in size from 18 to 42 inches. Other work includes manhole lining and rehabilitating approximately 2,500 LF of existing pipe, using trenchless methods such as cured in place lining. Pump Station No. 12 rehabilitation includes various electrical and mechanical upgrades, new pump station controllers, VFDs, SCADA, odor control and other miscellaneous equipment.

This project will reduce the likelihood for potential failure of these components which could lead to spillage, resulting in impacts to the health and safety of the community and the environment.
