Allamuchy Township recently closed on a $949,500 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to replace an aging 60,000-gallon water storage tank that plays a key role in the Township's drinking water system.
The tank, originally built in 1968, has served the community for decades and was last refurbished in the mid-1990s. After more than 50 years of use, it has reached the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced.
Replacing the tank will help ensure the continued reliability and safety of Allamuchy Township's water supply for years to come.
