ROBBINSVILLE TOWNSHIP TRANSPORTATION BANK LOAN

NJ I-Bank and NJDOT Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Robbinsville Township recently closed on a $2,000,000 loan with the NJ Transportation Bank for improvements to Newton Village. All roads within the project area will be milled and paved with base repairs as necessary. Some roads will require full depth excavation as they are severely deteriorated with potholes, alligator cracking, and longitudinal cracking. In addition, the stormwater facilities on site will undergo major improvements which include replacement of inlet frames, grates, and eco curb pieces; inlet structure repairs and replacements; and installation of new inlets and pipes. The storm sewer improvements will eliminate any ponding of stormwater on site and ensure proper drainage away from the mobile homes. All signage and striping will be replaced and installed as necessary, and all disturbed curbs and sidewalks will be replaced to meet ADA requirements.
